I began my working life in the hospitality industry, working for promotion agency. In 1992, I trained as a community mediator working for housing associations and the police. Following this role, I went to work for the local education authority seeking resolutions for schools or parents regarding their children's entitlement to educational rights. I am a Psychodynamic Counsellor and have extensive experience of working with those who are "life limited" and their families. My approach to therapy is to utilise an individual's creative side and seek to acknowledge all aspects of a person's pain. My twenty years experience in working with pre-school children to the elderly provides support to those suffering with mental health led me to further my interest in the human mind and especially to the works of Milton Erickson. Hypnotherapy has added a valuable dimension to my life and private practice.
